Simply wipe clean our high capacity separators. A fully contaminated core can be cleaned in under 1 minute leaving you with only metallic particles, which can easily be disposed of.

  • The magnetic separator to the left was installed on a broaching line after a 5 micron filter. Note the volume of small damaging fines removed in 1 day.

  • There is no other way we know to safely remove particles this small from coolants. You can’t filter coolants across a barrier type filter such as a bag or a cartridge much below 5 or 10 micron because these barrier type filters begin to strip out the coolant’s chemical components.

    However, magnetics can remove the smallest fines to sub micron levels without affecting coolant chemistry in any way.

  • Our standard line of magnetic separators come in 3 sizes, measured by the length of the magnetic core. The 3 sizes are 5”, 10” and 20”

  • 1" NPT connections 5" & 10" (11/2² NPT on 20" units)

  • Materials of construction: Heads are anodized aluminum. Filter housing is SAN (styrene acrylo nitrile), Viton O-rings. Rare earth magnetic core encased in stainless steel sleeve.

  • Max temp: 176 F (80C)

  • Max operating pressure: 125 PSI

  • Holding capacity:
    - 5" separator: 900 grams (about 1 quart)
    - 10" separator: 1,800 grams (about 2 quarts)
    - 20" separator : 3,800 grams (about 1 gallon)

  • Permanent rare earth magnets up to 10X more powerful than standard magnets. Magnet has a theoretical 50 year lifespan.
