SmartSkim® Magnom™

  • It’s important to note that this SmartSkim® Magnom™ was deployed on the clean, discharge side of a 5 micron filter. All the captured contaminants you see are below 5 micron.

  • Top photo shows the Magnom™ after recycling 2,500 gallons of semi synthetic coolant. Small sub 5 micron sized particles have been removed from the coolant with no consumables and no damage to the coolant.

  • Lower photo shows the Magnom™ core cleaned by 1 minute pressure wash.

  • Coolants and other industrial fluids typically can not be filtered below 5 micron. Any filter rating tighter than that will separate out and remove the constituent parts of the source fluid. The Magnom™ is the only safe way to remove sub 5 micron contaminants without damaging your industrial fluids.

  • The flow through the Magnom™ captures any ferric contaminants that get by previous filters. Unlike traditional pin type magnetic separators which allow wash off of captured contaminants, the Magnom™ does not release contaminants. There is no failure mode. No matter how full the cores become Magnom™ patented bypass technology guarantees full flow with no pressure drop.
