- This demonstration used a CoolantLoop™ 300 as shown.
- Recycled 7,000 gallons of coolant in 7 weeks that previously would have been disposed of by evaporation and replaced with new coolant.
- Eliminated the need to buy 700 gallons of coolant concentrate at $11 per gallon. This savings is $7,700 for 7 weeks or $57,195 per year.
- Eliminated over 111 hours of costly evaporator time to dispose of the 7,000 gallons of coolant. This produced an additional yearly savings of $4,623.
- Total savings so far equal $61,819 per year.
- Cost savings not documented.... Longer tool life. Improved work environmnent. Significant reduction in new fluid purchases and handling.
- Using the SmartSkim® FilterLoop&trade including our Magnom™ magnetic separator this system removed so much ferrous contamination in the 0 to 5 micron range that the magnetic separator needed almost daily cleaning. An upgrade to a larger capacity Magnom™ is planned.
